Is 23.1 mpg average for 13 gallons and trip ending at 300 before thegas light comes on?

I don't own one but I've driven them. I'd say that sounds about right for average mpg. You can expect 20 in the city and 27 on the highway. It's a big car.

If your check engine light isn't on, check the basics. Air Filter. PCV valve. And check your tire pressure, which can affect your mileage by up to 10%.
