Nismo! I've owned two Maximas and a 300ZX in the last four years that I've had my license. And I have loved every Nissan I've owned. From the handling of my 300 to the reliability and comfort of my Maximas. To me nothing beats em!
For me, toss up between TRD and M. I had to go TRD though - every aftermarket part they developed for the Supra was superb in visual quality, performance, and reliability.
Although not technically "in-house," I'd rate RUF at the very top.
Every time I see "TRD" my brain tries to buy a vowel.
I have to go with M. Nobody else has so consistently made their cars do so much with such modest engine displacement and no forced induction. 280HP from a 3.5L 6 cylinder in the mid-80s, which was 50 more than GM could squeeze out of a 5.7L V8 at the time. 195HP from a 2.3L 4-cylinder in the late 80s... that was impressive. And now they have a 4.0L V8 shoving out over 400HP. Good stuff.
Drover, youre correct. BMW's M division has always pulled out astonishing hp per liter numbers. The last M3 comes to mind... 333hp from a 3.0 liter I believe it was? I believe it was the 2nd highest hp per liter, behind the S2000 which had 120 hp/liter.
I chose SVT. Ive always been a fan of the stuff they put out. The 390hp SVT Cobra was sweet, the Lightning was quicker than snot and looked cool, the SVT Focus was a great track car and looked killer, the SVT Contour was slick with a decent 200hp V6 and nice body kit, etc. My fave SVT of all time was the 2000 Mustang Cobra R. Argh, Id give my left nut to own that car.

Even though I'm a die hard VW fan, I chose the M division! Drover is correct about the hp per litre numbers! I wouldn't buy one....reliabilty issues concern me.
Drover, I think the vowel you want to buy is a "U"!!!!!
They're a parts supplier, not an in-house tuner turning out factory products. Chrysler's closest equivalent to an in-house tuner would be SRT.
They have Mopar branded products, but yes, they arent generic factory vehicles. It technically means the parts, but they also have a Mopar team that does racing and such, unlike, say, GMPP.
