I got a 97 Toyota Corolla with about 104000 miles on it. I bought it last Feb. with about 93K just to commute in, it was cheap, great on gas and very reliable. Everything works, it's very cheap to maintain and other than routine maintenance has been very reliable.

I have a 1989 Chevy Caprice Classic with 143,000 miles on it and it's in very good shape with a clean engine and interior-very well maintained. My parents bought it brand-new. When they passed on, my sister got it, then she got a new car and gave it to me.
Not bad for a 20-year old car, huh?
Daily driver:
1991 Lexus LS400 has 216,000 miles (giving to my mother)
and her old car
1997 Oldsmobile Achieva SL has 169,000 miles (will become my daily driver)
Occasional/days off driver:
1988 Mercedes 300SEL has 154,000 miles
Antiques:
1972 Chevrolet Caprice Estate wagon has 47,000 miles
1973 Pontiac Grand Ville Custom sedan has 98,000 miles
(was grandmas old car)
I was driving an 01 Eclipse GT that I loved more than my husband. Ok, well maybe not more, but it was close. When it hit 200k miles I gave it to my daughter for her 16th birthday and regret it. I'm driving a 98 Stratus ES now that has 149k on it and I really dislike that car. 0-60 in 2 weeks. It's such a granny-mobile.
116,000 miles and counting on my 2001 Honda Accord. Runs as good as the day it was new, gets great gas mileage, and has needed nothing other than routine maintenance. I will get at least another 116,000 out of it.

Did you test drive the Stratus before you bought it?
