Really? I have a Consumer Reports test in front of me, but I think they may have rated "value." In my group(35) they rate battery life, RC, CCA, Warranty, claimed CCA and then stack it up against price. Duralast GOld came in first, followed by Everstart Maxx (North), Diehard Gold (north), Everstart Mxx (South), Interstate Mega_tron Plus, and Diehard Gold (south). So I don't even know anymore. My cousin says Interstate, my friend says Wal*Mart, the guy at work bought a DieHard and it died in 3 months. Heck, I don't know anymore. I'm almost inclined to go with what I know (the AC Delco) although I think it would be harder to follow up on the warranty throughout the US (trying to track down a dealer who carries them) especially with GM about to go under. I want something I can replace anywhere, but I'd like it to last. I think I"m making this more difficult than it is.
