If I wanted to know if I was going to get an evaluation at work for a pay raise, I'd ask my manager or top person.......NOT some random people.

Meaning...why ask us, if you already know the answer, and Suburu doesn't have an answer.

Based on the past 8 years I'd say 2010 or 2011 is most likely.
Get that post count up.

this is nothing like a work evaluation........ Rumors circulate WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY before a top executive at a company ever verifies the rumors. SO I was wondering if there was any RUMORS about a redesign. Usually the rumors are pretty close to the truth. I followed the Mitsu Evo 10 from WAYYYYYYY back when it was just a rumor and the rumors were pretty darn accurate

It looks like a sad little family sedan right now! UGH! I liked the MEAN aggressive styling it had before. With the big hood scoop and boxy look of a rally car.

I bought a new car in July and I was TOYING with getting a Subie, but when it came down to it I just couldn't buy the new ones cuz they are so butt ugly!

Does anyone know if they plan on restyling them???????? PLEASE say yes!

Sorry. No plans. They had released the redesigned Legacy, Impreza, and B2 Tribeca in the past two years. The Forester just came out with a redesign late this year. 2009 Subaru Forester - 2009 Motor Trend Sport/Utility Of The Year - Motor Trend They are going to introduce the Exige early next year after the NAIAS in Jan. The new Subie that is coming out is the collaberation model with the parent co., Toyota. It's going to be a RWD coupe. That should be scheduled to come out in 2010.

Actually the Impreza has been restyled every 2 years ever since the 2002 release. It got restyled for the 2002 MY, 2004 MY, 2006 MY, and 2008 MY. I wouldn't doubt they're restyling it for 2010, especially considering the chilly reception the current styling has received.

Yeah, I like the 06/07 styling too. At first I didn't like it but then it grew on my very quickly. The one thing I don't like is that stupid-ass wing on the STi, so if I got one the first thing I'd do is sign up on one of the Impreza internet forums and offer to swap wings with someone who had the same color standard WRX. No doubt some ricer would jump all over it.

that made me laugh!

You know what drives me nuts???? When I'M called a ricer because I like Mitsu's and Subies........

here's how I define someone who has an obsession with imports (such as myself) and someone who is a ricer:

Import Fanatic: Loves clean lines, color coordination, sleek styling that makes your jaw drop. Someone who knows WHY a wing is put onto the back of most rally cars (and knows what the fins are for on the Evo's) Someone who understands the FUNCTIONALITY of the different parts of the car and doesn't just add things to make it look "cool". Someone who actually knows how to drive their car, not just in a straight line, but can also drift, power shift and rally off road if necessary! Someone who understands the dynamics of achieving a balance between air and fuel!

Ricer: Someone who doesn't know how to color coordinate and will put colors together that should NEVER be put together. Someone who sticks decals all over their car just to make is look cool, not because they're actually being sponsored by some of those stickers. Someone who adds underglow lights to the car! Someone who adds a GIANT wing to make it look cool and doesn't realize they just added hundreds of pounds of extra weight, therefore slowing their car down. Someone who ONLY drag races..... in a straight line. Someone who slaps on a turbo but doesn't understand that it needs to be tuned otherwise you'll probably blow your motor from ramming too much air into your cylinders!

ahem,, i could keep going if I wanted to. I just can't stand being called a ricer when there is SO much of a difference! I actually appreciate the mechanics under the hood, most ricers are just out to look cool..... yeesh!
