Default Worst speeding ticket you've ever received?

Just wondering what's the worst speeding ticket (miles over the limit) you've ever received for either driving like an idiot, or being in a major hurry?

How about the one I got pulled over for but didn't receive? I was doing about 98ish in Nevada on the highway in light traffic. Nicest cop ever, he knew I wasn't putting anyone in danger, so he gave me a ticket for a non moving violation, and told me that he called to his buddies ahead ( I was driving from Cali to Philly) and if I got caught speeding again, I would get that ticket plus the huge ticket he let me off on. I drove in the slow lane behind a semi until I got out of the state lol.

Never stopped for speeding. Other things yes... Never speeding. Was given the slow down gesture a couple of times.

I remember I had my 02 Civic Si, supercharged with lots of mods and I took it to the shop to get it a more agressive tuning, so when I got it back it was stupid fast so I decided to get on the freeway. I took the 91 going to San Bernardino and clocked it at 143 and pullin strong, all of a sudden I see red lights flashing and I got pulled over. The cop said I have been after you 5 exits ago and could not catch up with you. I was like officer I just got my car back form the shop and although it is not justifiable to do what I did, I kind of missed driving it. He asked what kind of car it was and checked it out. He was impressed and told me he will get me a ticket but will not down the actual speed he clocked me because he know what it's like to love your car and whatnot. He let me go and told me to watch my speed and keep it on the track. I ended up paying like $250 plus traffic school.

long long ago when I was still a "speeder" i was driving back to NYC from Indy through PA.

i was in my hurst-olds.

my radar detector went off and I nearly locked the tires slowing down (no idea how fast I was going, but I was hauling ass)

several hundred feet later, with my front end nose-diving from the hard breaking, I saw him under an overpass.....he got me at 84 in a 55 (either i slowed quick enough or he cut me the break of a lifetime)

i had to go on the payment plan, and the folks were kind enough to send me an itemized report with each payment tellling me where my money was being spent (1991, so they were buying a computer, new judge robes, and i forget what else)

this was before all states were hooked together, and it was my 17th speeding ticket (from 1987 to 1991) and my LAST.... these days, you could get a ticket in egypt and your home state would know about it in a few minutes.... at the time I was military, and of course, my deep-south home state would have pulled my card had there been shared reporting

I kept that olds several more years, but slowed way down for a long while-- until getting a WRX, and I was smart enough this time to leave the quick driving to the AutoX course. I got pulled over twice in that car, for 6-7 mph over in each case, but nothing ever hit paper. It was a cop magnet and I eventually sold it.

I got clocked doing 114 in a 65 in a supercharged S2000. And the cop let me off with a warning beleive it or not. I had just finsihed installing it in a friends car, and wanted to see what it would do.

And funny thing was, I still had one gear left, and it showed no signs of slowing up. I bet that car would have done at least 160 mph.

85 in a 55. Four lane divided highway. No one on the road but us. We were ending up a two week driving trip and I figured "what the heck, ain't nobody but me."

We dropped down a long hill into a flat, straight valley that ran for a couple of miles and it easy to see there was no other traffic.

Bear was on the other side of the highway under the far side of a bridge.

Pissed me off a bit. If there would have been any traffic I would have not cared (I wouldn't have been doing 85), but the was just us, not another car in sight in either direction. He at least dropped the speed on the ticket so I wouldn't get my license taken.
