Sorry, I have to ask...

What does this have to do with foreign cars being used as police cars?

Over the years, the California Highway Patrol has tested several "foreign" cars. The ones I remember seeing in my area were the Toyota Camry and a Volvo model, though I don't recall which one (s80 perhaps?).

Here is a link to a Wikipedia site that lists a number of foreign vehicles being used by law enforcement, including, in some cases, what they are used for:

Just a co-incidence of course.

Falls Church maintained a 25MPH limit on the main road through town (Rte 7, aka Broad Street) and used radar with a vengeance to fill the town coffers from drivers heading from outer suburbs to big employment centers closer in.

So that really was a cop I never stopped for in Falls Church? Well, at least no other cop stopped me either that day!

In my area the majority of police cars or Crown Vics followed by Impala and then Charger. They like the crown vics for the size and cheap to maintain. Crown Vics aren't sold for public sale anymore by Ford, only fleet sales.

I'd like to know who the absolute moron was that decided the Crown Vic could not be sold to anyone except fleet/police now. That person should be horsewhipped.
