Toyota Venza
Anyone have any thoughts/experience with this new "wagon" from Toyota? I saw a review in the New York Times a few weeks ago that was very positive. I went to the local dealer to take a look and they had none on the lot.
Thanks,
Jeff

I saw one at a recent car show and it looks nice inside and out but I don't like the placement of the gear shifter. My local dealer doesn't have any either.

Not bad looking, but Toyota needs to concentrate on making CARS again... not more crossovers.
Oh, they tried a little to hard to give it a Ford Edge-ish look for the grille.

The shifter is similar to the one in the Toyota Sienna. We have a Sienna, and it took a little getting used to, but I don't even notice it now.
I think the Vensa is a nice looking vehicle.

I think it is a very desirable model combining many practical features. I know one person that has one and he is very happy thus far. I have seen a couple on the road but since I do not have the finances to buy one have not looked for a test drive. BTW, I don't really care where they put the shifter as long as it is out of the way (the best placement IMO was on the old Chrysler products with push buttons).

I think they look more like a Lexus which is made by Toyota, obviously. I think they could've made more money by putting Lexus logos on it.lol
Still very nice.

I like it. It looks like a modern day station wagon.
