Post News, Segway And GM's 2 Seat Treat.

The first time you see the new PUMA (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility) 2 seat ride, you think to yourself, "well, that's pretty cool."

Then you ask yourself, "Will we ever really see this thing zipping around on streets?"

Maybe.

Sorry , but when I saw it I actually thought "I wonder how it will work in 6 inches of snow and temps in the single digits ?!"
I'm from MI and my last job was 38 miles one way... I don't thing that will work for me.

I understand it's a showcase for the technology but come on let's see something practical.

I think the technology starts at the showcase level and works its way down. Where I work, even technology developed on programs that are canceled are used later when the time is right. Sometimes 10 years down the road.

Has Segway ever made money? And GM..aren't they close to going Chapter 11?

What was it that was said about the Studebaker-Packard merger? Something about two drunks trying to prop one another up?

Good grief. The first vehicle that would be totaled if it hit a stray dog. And the dog would walk away laughing. Yeh, great idea GM. *rolls eyes*
