Thats too bad. And all to often when asked to sell they say no and the vehicle continues to sit and rot for many years when it could be sold to someone who would actually do something with the car.

I loved them. I good buddy of mine back then had one and it was a superb touring machine. He got really wired one night and went out into the neighbours cornfield with it and was mowing doen corn just like a combine. It busted the rad and he didn't stop until it seized. His dad was this really rich dude who was as wild as his son so he paid for the corn and bought my buddy a brand new Montego with a 351 cleveland in it. Now this is hard to believe but the mopar 383's couldn't touch that Merc.

DWTaylor is on a distinguished road
Well, I don't know if this is good news or bad,but my dad found a buyer for my 77 SCS. I'm not sure which bummed me out more... seeing this one go down the road or my 79 Bronco. I do appreciate all the input and info, especially from 73-79ford fan. You really seem to know your stuff. I hope in the future I can count on your expertise. I do like these year trucks,so I will get another one someday. The guy that bought my truck said he couldn't believe how complete the truck was and that everything worked.(even the dual tanks). He also said it has a Dana 70 HD worth about $500.00 alone. He

did say he's not going to part it out,so that's encouraging.

Those are strong axles and trucks. Those f350 Super Camper Special trucks are somewhat rare too and I probably will get one eventually.
