We need to list about a dozen symptoms for hard starting and let the OP check off what he/she thinks might be the reason.
Other then that...I haven't the vaguest idea.

Right, way too vague. It could be many things from the battery, starter, loose drive belt, fuel pump...forget it, I could go on til tomorrow.

1993 honda accord lx starting problems
ok here is the problem im having
i have the described vehicle above sometimes my car starts right up. mind you i have a toggle switch to start it. but sometimes it starts right up but most of the time i have to spray starting fluid into my air intake hose. and other times if im lucky i can throw it in first gear and go down a hill and hit 15 mph and pop my clutch and it starts right up. i have a new starter on it and new spark plugs but i should not have to keep doing this what is the problem and how can i correct it/

Perhaps it's lacking enough fuel at start ups. You need more fuel when the engine is cold. Has the fuel filter ever been replaced? Could be a fuel pump on the outs. Next time this happens, bang on the fuel tank with a rubber mallet or 2X4 with someone trying to start it and see if it starts. If so, the fuel pump is likely going bad. This is a starting point of course.

How strong or weak is your battery? Do you have a Check Engine Light on?
Could be a bad coolant temp sensor - the one that goes to the ECU computer, not the one that goes to the dash gauge.

No one noticed that he had a TOGGLE switch to start the car. Wonder how many amps the switch can handle and the guage of wire to connect it. Starter needs a lot of cranking power.
1st gear to pop the clutch?... should be 3rd or maybe 2nd...not 1st.
I believe his problem is the engine not turning over fast enough to fire because it starts up on popping the clutch.
