Check all fuses in the panel under the instrument panel and hood. If one is blow, please make sure you replace it with the proper amperage.

You dont have to necessarily have to have a shorted out wire to blow a fuse. Sometimes they just get old and blow out. Unless it keeps blowing out, all is probably fine, but if it blows out again quickly, you may have something shorting it out.

Hondas/Acuras typically have superior electrical systems, so its unlikely (but not impossibly) a short. Have you or anyone else modified the car in any way?

Also make sure something like a coin didnt get down in your power outlet (where you plug your GPS charger in).

You guys rock Sadly I chickened out. I totally found my fuses and some were even missing! I am getting the dealership to replace them for me. I'll also ask them for a replacement kit with the tweezers. At least I found them, and for me that was a really big step.

Wow. Just WOW. If you can use a can opener you can replace a fuse...Let us know how much the stealer robs you of to do this very easy job...

You ought to think about enrolling in one of the "powder puff" mechanic courses that are sometimes offered during evenings at community colleges....

There's always some missing...The empty spaces are for add ons...I've always had empty spaces in every car I've ever owned..

Strange, I don't think I've ever owned a vehicle that had empty areas in the fuse box.

Default A Happy Ending

Well, I got my 1-million (or whatever it is at this point) mile service done and the shop did change my fuses. So now the radio and the GPS work! Woot wooooot. If it makes WOW guy feel better, they only charged me 3 bucks. Thanks again for letting me know what the issue was because I would have still been in the dark.

WOW again. $3 is about fair, but at most stealerships....it would be more...a LOT more.

Its true... some cars are like that, especially some older ones. Apparently some cars used the same fuse box in all models, but some may lack certain power options, therefore an empty fuse holder.

For example, I know someone with a 1972 Buick Electra that dont have power door locks (which is unusual), but there is still the slot where the fuse would have went had the car been so optioned.
