Probably so... they are battered, but I love those old bubble Caprice's even like that... I could have lived with the dents... it is rust free though.

I also keep thinking (and hoping) that the drivetrains were shot. At least it wont be as bad if they were mechanically good cars.

I wouldn't be so concerned about the appearance as long as the drivetrain is in good shape.

I see many 1992/96 F-series used for the clunkers program. Disheartening.

Cash for Clunkers is a bad idea from a few different viewpoints. Just another terrible, wasteful, non-economical government program.
