I saw this LNG tractor this weekend. I have never seen one of these before. Are there many around?

hmmm... I did this over the weekend... trapped the whole nest and killed the damn things with an empty 2 ltr coke bottle, and some old cooking oil I was throwing out...

It was on the porch, and too close to the house to flame, but I couldn't spray it either because the spray will kill my plants. I got one a lil bigger that I just noticed too... gotta think up a good way to get it down.

LOVE IT!

And LP-Gas 450. Beautiful!

My dad has a regular gas 400 - which was basically the same tractor, but about 2 years older. Fantastic tractors!

The LP-Gas model was probably the most rare of those vintage Farmalls. Diesel was kind of rare. But the overwhelming majority of them are just regular gassers.

Omaha, did you decide what to do with that truck from the other thread? If I can vote a second time, I'd still go with fix it.

Well... I'm in the middle of painting a rental house right now, so even if I do decide to fix it up, it's going to have to wait awhile.

Honestly though, I'm kind of leaning toward just driving it until it either dies, or I fall out of a giant rust hole somewhere - which will probably be quite awhile from now. It's nice to be able to back it up to a house and use it like a low scaffolding without worrying about getting a speckle of paint of piece of sawdust on it.

Besides, other drivers get out of my way when they seem me lumbering down the street in it. They KNOW I've got nothing to lose.
