Why not an Elise? Probably the purest sports car available under 100K USD. As a comparative, I own an old Ferrari 308, and the Elise is almost as much fun to drive, much easier to drive well, and much quicker.

I would absolutely love to have an Elise if I had $40K laying around for a weekend warrior, but alas...

The average age of my cars is 27 yrs.

I only read the first page and it didn't say anything about the autobahn. After seeing your post I went looking for any other post he made and later saw where he wanted one for the autobahn. Chill
