The Ford F-650 is a commercial truck offered by Ford. It was introduced by Ford in 2000, replacing the F-600. Though it is made mainly for use as a utilitarian truck for towing, heavy hauling, use in construction and it is offered at Ford's official site under commercial vehicles, aftermarket has made the F-650 into a premium truck similar to the International CXT. It is a Class 6/7 truck, intended to appeal to businesses and municipalities.[2] The current (2008-09) version retains the dashboard and interior introduced with the current cab style in 1998 rather than the revised interior of the 2008 F250-550 Super Duty line; both Ford (with the 1967 cab's 1973 facelift and the 1980 cab's 1987 and 1991 facelifts) and GM (with the 1988 cab's 1995 facelift) have a history of doing this.

[edit] Engines

There are two available engines on the F-650, the 6.7 L Cummins B Series engine(ISB) I-6 Diesel, and the 7.2 L Caterpillar C7 Diesel. The Cummins engine has 8 different horsepower and torque ratings, while the Caterpillar has 10.[3]

International CXT

[edit] CXT

The International CXT or Commercial Extreme Truck is a very large pickup truck. Introduced in September 2004, the CXT is 21 ft (6.4 m) long with a 9 ft (2.7 m) tall cab. It is the largest production pickup truck on the market, its curb weight of 14,500 lbs is around twice the weight of a Hummer H1.[4][3] Its GVWR is 25,999 lbs.[5]
The CXT is built on an International 7300 chassis and is equipped with the DT 466 diesel engine and is capable of towing up to 20 tons while its air-ride cab and individual bucket seats offer a smooth ride for the driver and 4 adult passengers. The CXT's interior includes luxury options such as leather, DVD, and satellite radio.[3] Mechanical features include air brakes, an Allison 2500HD automatic transmission, and 4 wheel drive. The CXT uses a Meritor MTC 4208 two-speed transfer case. The CXT gets 8-10 miles per gallon, and has a 70 gallon tank.[3] The CXT is priced from $93,000 to $115,000.[3]
The CXT is built at the company's assembly plant in Garland, TX.[2]

I want one of those CXT's sooo bad. The Topkicks are pretty nice too, and then would come the Ford. CXT is number one though.

Pretty much all of the Ford F600 and up from 1957 to 1998 or so, whatever year they stopped making real medium duty trucks and the 1962 thru 1969 N series Ford trucks. I like the 361/391 and massive 477 and 534 gas v8s the best in these trucks. The International Loadstars from the 60s and 70s are nice looking solid trucks too along with the popular and common Chevy C60, C65 and C70 trucks from the 60s, 70s and 80s. I like all these trucks.

Not with these old trucks but I have seen some with a pickup bed installed on the shorter wheelbase trucks by the owner.

Nice picture GTOlover. That truck being a crewcab and 4x4 is kinda rare and I would like to have it. Those old Fords go from almost free to 10,000+ dollars depending on condition and whats on the truck. I see nice always shedded grain trucks for sale all the time.
