I would not really care what car the realtor had. I have known many people that own luxury marques, yet have a negative balance sheet.
What is important is their capacity and efficiency in providing me information on a property I am interested in and helping me obtain the best value possible. After all, isn't this what we are after when purchasing a property?

Year after year, I've tried so very hard not to judge someone by their car, but I continue to do it over and over and over again. Why? Because it can oftentimes tells a story.
I've had some bad experiences with realtors. I've always known precisely what I'm looking for, and they're always trying to steer me in another direction, futilely, as if they don't have any listening skills. When I say something once, and if I have to repeat my directions and specifications a second time, this realtor has just lost a commission.
Myself, I'd be put off by a realtor with a $75k car. But, fortunately, not everyone is as judgemental and stubborn as I am.

Everything a person owns tells a little story about the kind of person they are and if a realtor can rolling up in a 80,000 dollar Benz, I'd get two impressions 1: 'D*mn, this person must be good at what they do' and 2: 'He/She is just looking for my money, doesn't give a crap about me'

It really depends on the client. For me, assuming I did my homework and verified the realtor actually sold or put people in homes, I would actually prefer them showing up in a clean / maintained Hyundai Sonata.
To me that would show that they know value. They personally understand the principles of not over-buying. If they drive up in a brand new Benz, I would immediately think that all they care about is flash and one-upmanship. I would not be able to trust that they would not continually try to push houses that I could not afford. Whether or not thats true, its what I would be thinking.

And let's not forget the green-friendly, ardent environmentalists who drive around with gas-sipping vehicles. I'm not a wacko environmentalist, but it still upsets me greatly to see gas-guzzling vehicles on our streets and highways.
Imagine the reaction from this crowd to being shown houses in a gas-guzzler
like this!

Are you filling the tank? Paying the car payment and insurance?
If not, you should have no say in what other people drive. I drive a Yukon and average 15 mpg but I bought it with my hard earned money. I also get upset when people criticize my choice of vehicles. It's my choice, end of story.

as long as i get a ride in that viper, who cares
seriously, ive met and worked with realtors who drive simple suv's, who drive higher end euro cars, and those who have the old mini van. To me the car means nothing, it's the person themself and their sales portfolio--that says more to me then the car.

I'm trying hard to figure out what you're comment has to do with mine, and I'm drawing a blank. There was nothing sexist about what I said. "She's" is interchangeable with "he's". However, if I recall correctly, the original story said the realtor was a woman.

A Porsche is not in the same category as a Ferrari or Lamborgini. The former is about $125k-200k less than the latter.

The OP used he/she.
"Just wondering what your thoughts would be in your realtor pulled up in a $75,000+ exotic car? Something to the likes of a Porsche, Lamborghini, or Ferrari. Would jealously ensue? Would you think he/she is good because of the car they drive? Would you not want to work with them? Just a friendly poll to see what the thoughts are."
