Actually, my favorite year for the Camaro would be 1969, with 1968 in 2nd place.

A '69 SS 396 would be nice to own. Or a 427 Yenko Camaro.

I've voted for the 1979-93 Mustang's, I didn't care much for the pre-1985 Mustang's but I absolutely loved the 1987-93 Mustang's, especially the ones with the 5.0's, they were one of my top favorite cars of that era

Also was the manual transmission harder to find on the Camaro's than the Mustang's?

I chose the 93-96 Camaro simply because they are the fastest. However, I like all the years listed on both the Mustang and the Camaro. It is nice to finally see a poll on some cool cars.

from an aesthetic standpoint, the 80s Camaros would be my choice of the 4.

I like the pre 86 Mustang over the 87 and up Mustang from a styling stand point. Although the 87 and up were all FI with the stouter 8.8 rear.

I think I like the 80's Mustang slightly better over the 80's Camaro. Though the 80's Camaros were nice too. I like both better than the next gen Mustang/Camaros from a styling stand point.

But the next gen the Mustang I think was styled a little better than the Camaro and still had a better stronger rear end, yet the Camaro had more power.

agreed fot the 80's the fox body mustang would kill the 3rd camaro stock to stock at the 1/4 the 3rd gen would out handel the stang the but in this poll nothing would beat a 93-96 Z28 with a LT1 in performance or on the twisty's
so my vote is for the 4th gen camaro
