If I had a GM product I would have Onstar system install on it.

News, Washington (CNN) -- Sen. Bob Corker says his daughter is fine but "really sore" after being pulled from her car and thrown to the ground in a carjacking in the nation's capital.

The Tennessee Republican said his 22-year-old daughter, Julia, stopped the family's 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe not far from their apartment -- just nine blocks from the U.S. Capitol building -- to help someone she thought needed directions Wednesday night.

GM certainly didn't invent gps-based vehicle locator systems. My school bus has such a system, as do all the police cruisers and fire apparatus in the County....few, if any of these vehicles are GM-made.

I hate the thing....it records my speed at all times, whether I'm idling the bus for heat/A/C (big no-no), where I am opening and closing the bus door, and many other things...
