Definitely the pre 70 models as by then detroit was turning out crappy luxury cars; same as their other models.

Yeah, downsizing did not work well with U.S. luxury cars... bigger is always better!

I also noticed that the post-1970 luxury cars didn't rely much on performance like they did with the earlier luxury cars
