I would say most do not perform accordingly to their advertisements.
I know of only (1) one that performs better than their ads, and now I
use it regularly.

It actually increases mileage by 25%. It is EPA Certified and CARB
Approved. It was tested by the EPA for 3 years and 7 million miles,
EPA findings were that it did what is said it would do and it Boosted
HP by 5.1%.
It reduces emissions equal to or below EPA Standards.
It can be used in gasoline, diesel, 4 cycle and 2 cycle engines.
The average driver saves about $ 15.00 per tank of gas.
It reduces maintenance costs.
I personally use it in both of my vehicles and it worked like a charm in
my snow-blower this winter.

Check it out, I was glad that I did.

I only use intake cleaners like Techron which does a good job and is recommended by many perforemance cars makers. I am sure there are other cleaners that do a good job tho.

I've always heard fuel additives are snake oil, to dupe out the buyer. Anyone else relate?

Is this a secret, or can't a name brand be mentioned, which seems silly. My guess is Seafoam is what, but that's just my guess.

Look at the guy's screen name then google it.

When you see someone pushing a product, look and see how many posts they have. It's usually a pretty low number.

You know, I have to agree with you. I have tried most and most are nothing but hype. But this product actually works. I use it an I am proud to put my name next to it. Thanks for your comment.

some work.. some dont.. it all depends on the brand that creates it. some less reputable brands have light engine oil as the active ingredient. Light engine oil makes an engine run smoother, but it fouls injector tips with repeated use. It also lowers energy content, horsepower, and mileage. The trucker may even get the opposite impression because he shifts gears less often. Thatís because he has to run in the wrong gear in the first place.
