Bwahahahahahahahahaha! perhaps the 3rd ammendment maybe. the constitution has all but been gutted because people are too quick to accept minor little infringements on liberty, the sum of which add up to tyranny. so carry on turning a blind eye to rfid in your registration plates because if you have done nothing wrong, you've got nothing to hide. those police things are not a good thing. look long and hard at those british citations because maybe next year you'll get one of them for christmas

I think we can tell who the real nutters are.

License plates = a path towards shredding the Constitution.

Reality check in the automotive section, please.

You have no foresight. You admitted that even the red light cameras are being phased out... well again, people with little to no foresight just as yourself came up with that idea.

I can only hope that license plate monitoring will suffer the same fate.

no, you the one who brought up the constitution. i'm just telling you that if you think that all this surveillance is not going to lead to automatic ticketing, you're living in a dreamland

You live in a completely different country.

I only brought it up to illustrate that our laws are different, and what happens over there can't necessarily happen over here.

What?

That makes absolutely no sense.

Again, all this is doing is automating what cops do anyway.

Makes perfect sense to me, Texdav.

I pay for my License Plates and Insurance, why shouldn't everyone else? I'm getting damn tired of these scumbags that feel the laws are for "the other guy" and never them. If everyone pays their fare share we would all be better off.
