It's a Mercury Villager 93 and where the car fuses are there is 1 that is not working and it says it's for ENGINE CONT (Fuse 5), what is this for?

Engine control unit probably. Does the car run?

I checked and lights does not turn red like the other fuses

Sounds like the fuse tothe engine control module. What type of light were you usung to test?
