I sorta want to get one as a daily driver. Found a 1992 fastback model that has 155k on it, fairly new exhaust and a hurst shifter. Also has power windows and locks and a Pioneer CD player. Has factory 5 star rims. Body doesn't have much rust but does have OG paint that is faded in some areas. Drivers seat has a little wear and tear. They're asking $4500 firm. It's not a GT model or a Cobra, just a basic 5.0 Mustang. Light metallic blue in color.
However I'm not sure what the market is on these cars and I don't always trust what KBB or those sites say.
The value of 5.0's continues to climb, but I don't think I'd pay $4500 for a 155K Fox with some rust and a worn interior. Many of these high mileage Stangs have been abused.
Agreed, the price seems high for a rust-country car. If you were looking at one that had been stored winters, maybe $4500 would be OK.
What do you mean by "OG paint"?
When I mentioned what I did about the rust, I meant like it has almost no rust on it. maybe a speckle of surface rust in a few spots. Definitely no rot.
OG = original....it has the original paint.

LOL you mean one of those Pintostangs? I thought they died out with 8 tracks, disco and Charlie's Angels?
Seriously unless it were priced cheap I don't think I'd ever consider a Pintostang II.
