There's absolutely no comparison between an LS and a CTS-V. Two completely different cars that do well in their respective classes but are not likely to be cross-shopped by many people.

True, most of the LS and even the S63/S65 that I see regularly tend to be driven by older drivers who tend to drive somewhat slowly. The CTS-V is aimed at a much younger buyer, which Cadillac has wanted for a while, who wants an American luxury-performance sedan. There's a reason why the STS-V was dropped, and it wasn't due to overwhelming interest among its target buyers, since the STS buyer is in the same category as the S-Class and LS.
