Why would a broke company still spend so much on vehciles that are not likely to pay any profits in the enar future keep doing this like they hade moeny to waste. Their bankrupt and own alot of money. Skip the show might be produced one day vehicles and start making cars to sale.

I see you are not alone in bashing these odd little vehicles, but it is no surprise here.
Do you folks not think that the horse and buggy drivers laughed at the first single cylinder engine powered 'horseless carriages'?
Technology is not advanced by just thinking in the same mode and restyling the same old thing. It is advanced by thinking outside the box and then having the balls to actually try to make it work.
Will this iteration of the technology be a big hit and make a ton of money? Doubtful.
Is it a first step that may lead to a big step forward? Maybe...
That's all well and good, but I'd like to see GM work a little more on reliability and paying back 40 or 50 billion dollars of tax payer debt they have managed to borrow(steal) with there idiotic management skills which this falls under.
