I don't think it would meet all of the Fed regulations with regards to crash protection, etc.

True. Not impossible at all. I don't know why people think the only ex-"cop" cars that can be obtained have to be actual police cruisers... there are a slew of other applications other than a squad car that utilize these heavy duty/performance packages.

The Holden version is actually sold in limited numbers in the UK as a Vauxhall. Mostly it's the HSV versions.

Yeah I know, it's not as good looking though.

That said, I'm moving in to TX in about 3-4 months time, and UK cars are nigh on impossible to register in Norway anyways (and with that kind of power, insanely expensive.)
