It's 1st quarter numbers, so they might have sold a 100 or so by now.

My baby-luxury sports sedan doesn't even get listed since they only made them for a few years. It's the mutant brother of the REAL Jaguar family: the X-Type.

The X-type Jaguar is an excellent car especially if you live in the snow belt regions.

I've owned lots of AWD and 4x4 vehicles before, but the Jag X is absolutely the king. I think it's due to the low center of gravity and 50-50 weight distribution.

We got lambasted with snow this past winter and the car that everyone in the family liked the best to get around in it wasn't the Ford F-350, the Jeep Cherokee, or the Subaru Forrester....it was the Jaguar!

Those 24 units were remaining 2009 models. The last S60 rolled off the assembly line in March of 2009. There are no 2010 S60s. There is a redesigned 2011 Volvo S60, which will go on sale later this year.

I love my Jag, but it has its issues.
1. It's a low-priced vehicle for its class, with high-priced repair costs.
2. The front spoiler is stupid. All front spoilers, on all cars, are stupid. They call them spoilers for good reason: you can't SEE the curb you scrape your spoiler against when you pull up 2 inches too close - but it'll get spoiled anyway. My poor pretty jag has the UGLIEST grind-marks on the bottom of the spoiler and I wish the whole ugly piece of plastic would just disintegrate some day.
3. Repair costs..
4. It's making a rattling sound when I accelerate from a stop. Due to #1 and #3, I'm terrified to ask a repair shop what that sound is.
5. Have I mentioned repair costs yet?

yeah but luxury cars are nice but they come with luxury car repair bills as for the front chin spoiler it does serve a purpose of getting cold air into the radiator area to keep operating temps down while moving and give the car a better drag coefficient which increases fuel economy.

My Jag X-type doesn't have a spoiler. It does however have a pretty low front "chin" where the fog lamps are housed. I've owned quite a few cars with similar low front ends and spoilers that drag at times (like our Cadillac) so I guess I just know never to pull too close and be careful when pulling in and out of sloped driveways, etc.

I don't even think the repair costs are as bad as I've seen at the Cadillac or Volvo garages. You should see what they charge at the MINI Cooper dealership!!!

Hey...we could possibly help you diagnose and correct that rattle problem! NEED MORE INFO though....

Amazing how close the sales figures are for the top 3 cars here. A total difference of under 200 cars. I actually was surprised to see the A8 doing the worst, but in terms of flagship luxury, you really only see the 7-series, S-Class, and LS.
