Does anyone else here hate this show? It's a great premise that is ruined by Mike Brewer, a fairly ignorant loudmouth who professes to be an "expert" on classic cars and their restoration. Every week he purchases an older car, usually with issues and palms off all the hard work on his mechanic cohort, Edd China. Edd is a likable sort, but is a real fan of rattle can restoration.
To top it off, more often than not their efforts return very little cash for the effort expended. I would be more apt to be less critical if Brewer did not seem to have such a high opinion of himself. I would like to see an American version of the show, with hopefully a more knowledgeable host.

hmm never seen it then one show I can't stand is car crazy on the speed channel the host gets to me for some reason. I do like my classic car with Dennis Gage he is a hoot plus he gets in and drives the car and has some pretty good jokes too.

for the technical build's The Power Block on spike TV is best and most of the shows a have great host who knows what they are doing plus courtney hanson adds to the shows during the interlude

I enjoy Wheeler Dealers too, although much of it doesn't apply in the States.

The only motoring show worth watching is Top Gear.

Well, of course that is just a matter of opinion.

I would say Top Gear is the best one, but I also like watching Chasing Classic Cars as well.
