"From April through June, the nation's largest airlines collected $893 million in baggage fees, $594 million in reservation change fees and $618 million in other charges, such as for transporting unaccompanied minors and shipping pets, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics."
I wonder what the airlines will charge for next? Breathing the air that comes out of the little vents above your head? Why I do I see air travel as going back to being only for the super wealthy? If they are into so much charging and cost-cutting, I wonder if they will have enough people to tighten bolts and do extensive maintenance? This is a disaster in the making. But hey...they found a scam to make money. Bravo.

Pets are expensive. From Miami to Houston the charge for a pet is more than for a human ($150 each way). Hell, for that price he should get the seat next to me instead of a dark cage in cargo.

The croc got loose, and in the ensuing panic, the plane crashed.
Only one person, and the crocodile, survived.
