I don't have to guess that you have no answer.

As long as flyovers are practice hours, what does it matter? Pilots need practice. Planes need to be flown.

It was nice to see a bomber. It seems like I always see fighters for flyovers.

B-2 for stealth, B-52 for when the airspace is secured seem to handle the requirements just fine. Particularly with the ability of using cruise missiles and drones for point targets. B-1 was specifically designed to zoom though Soviet defenses at high atitude, then canned when it was realized that SAMs would make its mission suicidal, then reborn under Reagan as some sort of low-level nuclear penetrator. Now it's just a good-looking maintenance hog trying to justify its existence.

How about spending the money where it makes some sense?

Ozzie,

In a way I wanted the Packers to win and in a way I wanted the Packers to lose. I wanted them to win because I like the idea of Green Bay, a relatively small town, having a championship team. What other city the size of Green Bay even has a major sports franchise?

On the other hand, I've always been for the underdog and the Packers were the best regular season team in the NFL. Rodgers will almost assuredly win the MVP. Meanwhile, the Giants had a good, but not great season. So I was unsure for whom I should root. But the quandary had little effect on either the outcome of the game, or the taste of the Red Oak Beer on my chair's armrest.

Now this is a fly-over by the B-1B Lancer. One of the most under-rated bombers in service.

I hear ya. But I'm a Minnesotan...it's in me to hate everything Wisconsin.

God you whiners will get really upset at the smallest most insignificant things.

I would rather we spend $1 billion dollars on fighter jets and bombers than 1 cent on food stamps on some lazy bum who can't feed himself.
