United always has the best deals when I want to go visit family on the east coast.

Take my upcoming Thanksgiving trip to upstate NY (SYR)... I booked my 7 day trip in August and United was $380 round trip which includes economy plus seating on the 5 hr flight to Dulles as well as the return trip.

Delta and US Airways were $550+...

I can't explain it but it was good enough to earn my business yet again.

I'm along similar lines.

I always fly with Air France/KLM and they're excellent so they'd get my vote.

I'm aware it's not on the list but as the list comes without explanations or criteria I don't see that it really matters.

The only airlines on the list that I haven't flown are Great Lakes and Sun Country. Of the others, I'd have to say that my preference is for Jet Blue.

I am also a huge fan of Hawaiian Airlines and JAL. I don't mind Lufthansa either.

The worst airline I've ever flown on by a long shot was Iceland Air!
