I think it's pretty cool. It's looks like one of those RC quadcopters from the hobby shop but on steroids. The future will bring exciting innovations and ideas for personal transportation for sure.

The helo is pretty cool, but it is difficult to see how they can go from a prototype of such limited speed and range to a product that people will pay a third of a million dollars for in only two years.

It is difficult to imagine such a system going to an arbitrary suburban lawn. The uncontrolled airspace crawling with hundreds of such mini-copters is difficult to comprehend.
But certain air routes from distribution center to condo towers or office buildings where the copters drop packages over and over again is easier to see.

Perfect way for Amazon to get a lot of PR for something that is unforseable in the next 10 years, and at the same time divert attention from their labor issues, going into the busiest time of the year.
