45,000 feet wouldn't be high enough to cause a loss of the amount of oxygen needed to survive. The cabin altitude would've been maybe 10,000 feet or so.
Don't planes stall above say 40,000 feet? We were on a jet crossing the Pacific and we were worried the altitude and speed was reaching the edges of the limits. Breakup at ? miles per hour and stall at ? feet.
----------------------------------------- Search for Flight MH370 heads to site of first 'ping'
If the plane is located there (the month old ping location) alot of people in Asia are going to be very upset on why it was not searched first.
Look at the lighter-colored shape within the circle.
ZOMG, a lighter colored shape in the middle of the ocean. That's it, the plane is found. I'm sure it couldn't have anything to do with light reflecting off the waves.

If you were following the details of the story, they found that image and compared it to images from a few days before, and in those previous images, there was nothing there. Then there was.
Ops ceiling for the 777 is FL43 so I don't know where the FL45 came from. That jet couldn't have been in that range, unless it was the last hour of flight. Why - b/c early on, it's too heavy.
We used to fly 747 freighters at FL37 for seven-nine hours or until we switched fuel tanks, then went up to FL41 near the last hour or two, until descending to land.

Are you seeing activity in the Bay of Bengal where they said the plane might be?

The 777 would probably have to be higher than 45,000 feet at this plane's likely weight to stall due to altitude alone.
And they routinely cruise at 41,000 feet with a service ceiling of 43,000 feet.

It was only fueled for a 2500 mile flight and has a range about three times that far. It wasn't too heavy to climb that high.
First off, I never said an alien abduction IS what happened to the plane, just that I believe this is what happened to it.
Evidence(or the lack of ) certainly points in that direction.
I don't believe the plane ever touched land or sea from the moment it disappeared.
If by some strange event it is found some where on land or the sea, that in no way would prove me wrong.
I only stated what I believe happened, and there is no solid evidence to back up my contention, but neither is there any evidence proving it ditched in the ocean, or landed some where on land.
My theory is just as valid as all the others, until proven otherwise.
We earthlings don't even want to consider that this could be an alien intervention, because we are not equipped to handle that technology wise, or emotionally, still, it is a real possibility.
Bob.
I think that theory is the most interesting I heard. But would an alien spaceship gone unnoticed?
