My airline was Northwest. Now that they're gone, I'm trying to like Delta, but every flight I seem to get stuck with United.

United gets most of my business with southwest being second. I flew Turkish airlines houston to Istanbul and back and the service was great, lots of food, internet, toiletries kit, slippers and socks provided much better than my united flight New York to madrid

Yes, I've always been very impressed with Alaska. Haven't flown with them in some time (they don't fly to NM), but I look forward to being back in their range eventually.

Domestically, I like US Airways; I've found this airline to be on-time for the most part, which is a big deal for me (Delta always seems to be delayed when I fly for some reason) and I've generally been treated well by flight attendants. I can't say the same, as far as treatment goes, for other airlines. Seriously, I've encountered so much rudeness among US flight attendants that its not funny. Interestingly enough, certain US carriers on international routes have been superb in my experience. This includes Delta; I've flown Delta to India and Australia, and enjoyed both flights. I haven't flown Southwest or Jet Blue, but have heard good things about them.

As far as international airlines, I've found Korean Air to be outstanding.

Not really any.

But I have flown on the following:

LOT Polish Airlines*,
United*
American
Delta
Southwest
Virgin America
Cathay Pacific

*flown some long time ago

on LOT good food but I have flown them a lot time ago when they did not have yet newest planes with PES on back of the seats but my mother did and she was pleased when she got bumped up at no extra cost to business class and she could stretch out legs. Mind you she is not frequent flyer.

I flew United lot time ago too, domestic from Hartford (Bradley Airport) to Chicago O'hare and remember their jet having entertainment screen on back of seats with Verizon logo. Not sure if my memory accurate.

I flew Delta from MDW to LGA on my trip to New York and hated it.

I always had good experience with Southwest, but I hate their boarding process with no seat selection. If you come to get 1 min late and you are not lining up early you will get behind in your assigned group queue.

I like Virgin America but their limited route service blows. I was also blown off when I found out booking together hotel and airfare on their website as package deal disqualifies you from earning points.

Most of the times I have flown American because for most part they serve destinations I go to and serve my local SJC airport for my travel to Chicago Ohare.

I used Cathay Pacific on my trip to Hong Kong and while their service, food and entertainment is nice, the economic seats blow. On the plane that I flew, they used hard shell seats that don't recline, instead slide down that sacrifices legroom and gives bad backache.

JetBlue was my preferred airline, but they've come out recently and said that they are reducing leg room and will be charging to check a bag. So, that pretty much makes them just like everyone else.

Southwest is on my bad list at the moment. United is the worst though.

I guess that leaves American, but I'd prefer to never fly anywhere ever again.
