Just curious as to the thoughts on direct flight from the US to Cuba.

Beyond MIA and NYC which cities will likely get direct to Cuba flights?

Just wait for the tourist industry to demand flights to a place that is sunny, warm and cheap in December.

You think CLT will get one? I can see the others getting flights, for sure. I guess its possible.

I'd like to see how many GA flights head that way.

I think CLT will get one to route alot of the US/AA traffic on a one stopper.

Most Secondary US/AA cities can run thru there for a 1stop connection. MIA does not have many flight to Secondary cities, Some, but not alot or often.

One thing that will restrict how many get the flights, is how customs handles them, Right now all flights go thru MIA into a restricted custom area, so passengers coming from Cuba do not intermix with other passengers clearing customs from other international flights.

why not PHL for AA, it also may have more local demad plus connections

MIA could handle most SE connections and would imagine would have multiple dailies

Miami already has direct flights to Havana. JetBlue was supposed have flights from New York in July.

MCO would be a probable route, Orlando is already a gateway to PR and most of Latin America, it would only make sense, especially for carriers such as JetBlue that utilize MCO as a hub.
