I found out he was involved in theU2 and asked him about it. He refused to talk over the phone,

You need to talk to them Anenerbe people. They reverse engineered some very advanced technology. Or, to Herr Schtaufenberg, who came up with vortex drive.
As practically a lot of what they had, was taken over by either side after the war.

Well a lot of people have reported so-called "flying wing" craft, often near Air Force bases. So it seems very plausible there probably are aircraft not known to the public.

Supposedly work on a B-3 bomber has already started according to various media outlets.

You enroll in college $150,000 in debt, and graduate 4 years later with a 1973 Pinto and all the money you need to get drunk next weekend.

Against the Russians we would fare quite well in a limited engagement. We have excellent advanced aircraft with well trained pilots. Lots of flying hours etc.
In a larger conventional war, maybe not as well, not because of lack of Military might, but because of politicians making restrictive rules of engagement. Trying to limit collateral damage and civilian deaths, which the Russians probably wouldn't have the same ROE.
Full scale anything goes against Russia, it's a tie.... Mutual assured destruction MAD
As for Aliens: we lose, if they can get here, and aren't friendly, they have way better technology than we do...

Any civilization that has the technological ability to travel from their star system to our star system has the technological ability to do pretty much whatever they want to do once they get here. It'd be like throwing spears at F-16s.
