Despite flying business , i can't help but notice how decaying most of the a340 i flew were. Iberia's 340 was probably the best kept one.
Aerolíneas Argentinas a340's are scary
South African Airways was okay despite the horrible interior
Even the Swiss was all rattly and the landing rough, had the feeling the plane was going to colapse

The average age of the 6 Airbus A340s owned by Aerolíneas Argentinas is 19.2 Years. I doubt that they are worth upgrading since they are so expensive to operate.


Iberia is operating 6 A340-300s (19.3 Years) and 17 A340-600s (10.4 Years). Were you on the older ones?
