I could ask for a direct Pasco to Atlanta flight, assuming a 737 can do that run, that being about as large a plane as I have seen land at Pasco, although I don't know if a 757 or 767 can land here or not - anyway, I could ask, but, realistically, it would likely lose money.
They might could justify a Pasco to Reagan (or other DC area airport, but if I'm doing the asking, I'll ask for Reagan). Enough people going from the Lab to DC they could at least do one on Fridays and Sundays (Fly to DC on Sunday, fly back Friday evening) if not every day.
I quoted typical Boeing aircraft, simply because I am familiar with them, equivalent Airbus would be fine as well.

You have six destinations from PSC serving large airlines. I see they are expanding the airport so they must be expecting more airlines You also have three Allegiant LCC destinations
SEA 172 mi Horizon Air
PDX 174 mi Horizon Air
SLC 521 mi Delta Connection
SFO 620 mi United Express
DEN 852 mi United Express
MSP 1,254 mi Delta Connection
Allegiant
LAS 732 mi
LAX 851 mi
PHX 962 mi
Canadian North has 10 Boeing 737-300s averaging 18 years old, and they fly then from Calgary to Cancun (2,626 miles).
So the 2016 miles from PSC to ATL is possible with a classic B737, and is not a particularly long distance for a next generation B737 (B737-600/700/800/900) which have been delivered since 1997.
At ABE airport (which carries a similar number of passengers as PSC) there are only five destinations serving mainline airlines left.
PHL 55 mi American Eagle
CLT 481 mi American Eagle
ATL 692 mi Delta Connection
DET 411 mi Delta Connection
ORD 654 mi United Express
Allegiant LCC destinations (only SFB Orlando is daily, other airports limited)
882 mi SFB Orlando
1,018 mi PGD West Coast of Florida
970 mi PIE Near Tampa
518 mi MYR Golf season only

I would like a straight flight from CGH( Conhonhas) to EZE( Pastrani-Buenos Aires). I fly there often and GRU is such a hassle to get to.
Actually i would really like to see more direct flights from both CGH and SDU, they are super convenient airports

CGH lost it's international status shortly after the accident involving TAM Airlines Flight 3054 on July 17, 2007.
All 187 passengers and crew aboard the Airbus A320 died, along with 12 people on the ground. It is the deadliest air disaster in Brazilian territory, and remains the deadliest aviation accident involving an Airbus A320 proper worldwide.
As a result of this accident and the subsequent public outcry for more safety and reduction of noise in this neighborhood, additional restrictions were put into place. Landing slots and flight distances were reduced, and there was a curfew put in affect for flight operations between 11:30pm and 6:00AM. The maximum allowable gross weight of aircraft was also reduced so the largest aircraft now operating at CGH are the Airbus A320, Boeing 737–800, Embraer E-Jets, and the Fokker 100.
Runways are 6,365' and 4,708' which is pretty short for an airport with 20 MAP.

Just saying if Delta asked me what would make my day, it would be direct flights to ATL and to Reagan.
Thinking about this, am I alone in preferring a direct flight say every other day, to an indirect flight every day? Do any airlines do that?
Well, the original post did ask for your dreams and wishes.
Most businessmen prefer a daily flight if there plans change and they must stay over. Of course, they might add extra flights on busy days. But usually only LCC or primarily leisure routes have less than daily nonstops.

Both of these airplanes could easily reach Buenos Aires non-stop.
Sao Paulo to Buenos Aires = 904.6 nautical miles.
Gol's Boeing 737–800= 3060 Nautical Miles
Tam's A320= 3,500 Nautical Miles
