Money no object AND it's available (which unfortunately it's not): A-10. I had more fun flying that than anything else; of course it would be de-mil'ed so no gun which was the best part.

If it's not a deep dark secret, I'm curious what that gun weighs and how much a full load of ammo weighed? And when you hit the trigger was there noticeable deceleration felt by the pilot?
I'll take a C-17. Lots of room to swap out various modules in the cargo bay, depending on what I am doing and where I am going. Plus, I can take my friends, and it can use just about any airport anywhere. Except maybe Lukla, Nepal.

The A-10 gun assembly weighed about 4000 lbs. fully loaded, around 1800 lbs. empty. During training missions, if the gun was empty or nearly so, maintenance would install ballast plates in the nose gear wheel well to balance the aircraft, and if the gun was removed during maintenance a jack was placed at the rear of the aircraft to keep it from tipping. I never noticed a difference between heavy and empty. It was an urban myth that the gun would slow the aircraft, although it might reduce acceleration since the gun was almost always fired in a dive.
The M-61 in the F-16 fired a lot faster but it was a shotgun with wide dispersion, the A-10 gun was a hunting rifle by comparison.
