With two crashes over the last 6 months, both right after take off, with brand new jets, it's not good to say the least.

Unlike Lion Air, Ethiopian has a reputation as a good and safe airline and is seen as the best option for flying into many secondary African cities

I've actually flown on Ethiopian from Dulles to Addis Ababa and really enjoyed the flight, no issues whatsoever.

It’s too early to speculate, but of course everyone naturally will. I hope that they ground all MAX planes or at least the -8 while they’re investigating. They won’t though.

Ground the planes and redesign the flaw.
Don't rely on an encyclopedia on how (the 250,000+ of the world's airline pilots) are to react and solve the problem when they encounter it.

It has already been shown that when it happens there is not enough time to solve it in the air.

Totally agree, I'm sure Boeing will send their investigation team to Ethiopia to help out figure out what went wrong. Seems very eerily similar to the Lion Air crash. I haven't flown on a 737-8 Max yet.

The real question is where is Boeing getting their materials/parts made?

The aerospace industry in Canada and United States is not great and lots of people have lost their jobs and can't find anything related to aerospace industry. Some people transferred to Mexico to be able to keep their jobs and continue to manufacture parts or make the materials.

With Boeing, Mitsubishi put a lot of pressure to put the parts together very fast that it wasn't about quality, but to get the numbers out, just like car manufacturing companies.
