I always gave my kids (not while babies) my FC upgrades, I figured the other clients needed the 'experience'. ... Whoops.

but... they were not screamers, and well acquainted with international travel.

Both the FA's and the kids appreciated the upgrade, not sure about the 'Stuffy Shirts'. (usual clients)

(Unique for both)

I commend the Japan opportunity to group babies with babies.

As someone who travels with an infant and a toddler I think this is a great idea and hope it catches on.

I make every effort to minimize our kids' disturbance to others during our trips, but we all know that babies sometimes cry no matter what. We'd much rather sit next to someone who can handle the occasional tantrums than someone who will be visibly annoyed when they occur. Or even better - if we book an aisle and middle seat and put the lap baby in the middle seat, maybe other passengers will choose to avoid the window seat and we'll be able to use it .
