Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to entertain the kids today? We were looking for something indoors thats relatively inexpensive. They are 5 and 3. We live in the Fallston area of Harford County. Thanks.

We just moved here, so I don't know where Fallston area is, but try searching for a "Pump It Up" indoor playhouse near you. There is a coupon in the latest Maryland Family magazine for 1 free child (and its $7 regularly). My kids and I went there yesterday, and they had a blast. It's a place full of jumpers and bounce houses, and its air conditioned. Even parents can jump too!

Try the library, they will usually know where to find information on local events. Also, the libraries in Howard County have classes and events. You can also try getting a free class at my gym or gymboree to see if you kids would enjoy it. Not sure if they are in your area or not.

Take them for a walk along the waterfront and a visit to Ft. McHenry in the city: all for free. For more nature, Gunpowder State Park with trails, etc. Or, go to Ladew Topiary Gardens and stop at a winery and have yourself a glass of wine when they get on your nerves.

Umm, he (or she) said indoors, all of the above would be outdoors

To the OP: Growing up in Fallston, well for indoors, if you belong to one of the health clubs like Bel Air Athletic Club could be a start. There's always Chuck E Cheeses which seems to be a hit with the kids Any neighborhood friends? As mentioned, the Library could work too, though Bel Air or Abingdon branches probably have more going on than Fallston's.
