we are new to b'more with a child entering kindergarten. We put her in the lottery for French Immersion magnet at Wellwood International School and she got in. We haven't met anyone who is familiar with that school. Does it have a good reputation?

Getting into a French Immersion program at a public school is not a deal I would pass on. I would have given my eye teeth for such an opportunity. I know northing about the school, but my advice would be to enroll her. It's only kindergarten, so what's to lose?

I hope others with experience with the program/school join this discussion.
