How reliable is the Charm City Circulator? I'm considering using the orange route as my transportation from home to work and I'm wondering if there are any drawbacks to this approach that I hadn't considered.

Thanks!

Consider getting an MTA bus pass too, and then you can use whatever bus comes first.

It's been reliable in my experience, and I think it's great that you can go online to find when the next bus should arrive.

Two drawbacks: the circulator seems to crawl along compared to MTA buses. And, on more than one occasion, I've been on a bus that has stopped to wait for another bus to arrive, or had to get off and wait for another bus because the driver's shift had ended.

I can't complain because it's free, but might be hesitant to rely on it to get to work on time.

I find that the service has varied. However, they have a great web site where they tell you when the next 3 buses are arriving.

Thanks to all of you for the feedback. I think I'll try both the Circulator and the MTA as see how much time the MTA saves me. Regardless, I love that the Circulator is available and that you can check the projected arrival times online.
