Anyone who would spend $100-$150 per person to eat ANYWHERE in Balltimore is nuts! For that kind of money you can drive to DC and eat one of the best meals of your life, one block from the White House, at Bobby Vans.

I ate at a Bobby Vans in NYC. Good food. High prices. I certainly wouldn't drive 40 miles just to have the experience.

I've eaten at a lot of places in my life, and the Charleston can hold its own against any restaurant, anywhere.

Totally worth it.

My advice is to order a couple things you really want (they offer small plates), and then just say, "Feed us until we say stop."

They'll bring a lot of courses that don't even show up on your bill that way, including dessert bites, and a small cheese course.
i'm partial to woodberry kitchen but i am a bit of a foodie
