Default Hokey, hokey

If you watch TV tonight, you'll see all these motorists dropping off their returns at the Central Post Office on Fayette Street and getting a handstamped date on their envelopes in order to beat the deadline.
Of course, this is so much BS. If you need more time, ask for an automatic extension. It doesn't affect anything, if you are entitled to a refund. If you owe money to the taxman, your overdue interest clock begins ticking.
It's Hampden, I believe. Their last local collection is sometime in the afternoon. Delivery? Who knows.

Also keep in mind that the central PO is no longer open until midnight .... I think it closes at 9 now, unless they have some special hours for tax night.

Thanks!

In case that I am not able to go to the post office today, I am considering the postage for my Federal tax return mail within the country to Kansas. I was wondering what is the postage of two stamps of First-class Forever?
