Wrong again. I don't even post 10 percent of the violence that goes on in Baltimore. I thought it would be helpful to let people know about the murder of a man just sitting on a bench at a bus stop a block away from the downtown arena since many people reccommend the downtown area as "safe."

hehehe---Your naivity is amusing. That man "sitting" for a bus was at 2:30 in the morning and the details of this incident are not clear.

You're right again. You can't take a bus after a night out downtown. That's just not smart in Baltimore.

The details of the incident need to be known before just making broad statements.

Let me see. Are you saying that only after we have what ever "details" you are so concerned about can we condemn a person being murdered? I agree with Bawlmr. A person was murdered at a bus stop downtown. I think that's a bad thing.

Of course it's a bad thing but saying that you can't ride a bus at night or go downtown because of it just doesn't seem beneficial.

Baltimore police announced Monday that detectives have linked last week's fatal downtown shootings of a one man sitting on a bench and another in his apartment and said that a suspect has been arrested and charged in both cases.

Isaac Tyrell Truss, 23, who lives in the 900 block of Webb Court, just blocks from the crime scenes, was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with murder and robbery in the shooting of Edward Alfred Jones, 50.

Jones was shot about 3:30 Friday morning as he waited on a bench for a bus in the 200 block of W. Fayette St. CityWatch cameras captured that shooting, and witnesses identified Truss as the person who attacked Jones, according to court documents.

It's says that robbery was the motive. No need to knee-jerk and blame the victim before you have the details.
