Commute from Northeast Balt to Owings Mills
Can someone tell me about the commute from North Baltimore where I will be living and commuting to a contract job in Owings Mills?
Thanks for your help.

Try these
Here, without knowing the details of your destination, are two alternatives:
(1) Jones Falls expressway to the beltway to 795.
(2) Northern Parkway to Park Heights Avenue to the Owings Mills area. A very pretty drive with little traffic.
The main thing is to avoid gridlock on Reisterstown Road.

Painters Mill
That's not far from the Owings Mills Mall. The two options I mentioned should be fine.

Painters Mill is very accessible from the first exit off 795. I'm going the opposite direction, so if you see a blue prius, wave at me!

They're talking about extending the Baltimore subway from Hopkins up to the northeast corner.

Still a crummy system...
Yes, I have a gripe with the MTA after today (not to mention 2 years of riding that poor excuse for a subway!)
