Middle River (middle schools, safety, kindergarten)

Hi, my husband has been accepted for the Johns Hopkins Residency program and I am looking for more info on Middle River. I have searched the forums as well as some internet sites but can not find any info about the schools. I have one that will be starting kindergarten and one that will be in 5th grade. What elementary/middle schools would my children go to? What is the Middle River area like...community, people, safety, things to do in the area, etc. Thanks for any and all information.
